After weeks of rain, California has finally emerged into a glorious burst of sunshine. My friends and I, like zombies, crawled out of our homes and into the vibrant world outside. 

With a record-breaking 30 inches of rain (surpassing a record from 1958), we hardly knew where to look first

🛶 rivers spilling over their banks

🌻wildflowers exploding in a burst of colors

🌱 grasses that had turned a vibrant shade of green

Everywhere we turned, there was a feast for the senses, a delight for the soul. 

The long-awaited arrival of spring has never been more welcome nor more magnificent, and with it comes renewed energy & possibility.

And if you’re lucky enough to catch a glimpse of hummingbirds buzzing as I did this morning, you might also feel a mindset shift taking place.

Did you know hummingbirds can fly in every direction, hover in mid-air, and beat their wings up to 80 times per second? And despite their small size, hummingbirds are also incredibly resilient. They migrate thousands of miles each year, enduring harsh weather conditions, and rely on their instincts to guide them to safety.

I am pretty sure I was a hummingbird in a past life.

Making a mindset shift can be challenging, but it’s also rewarding. It requires letting go of limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns and replacing them with clarity and a more positive, growth-oriented mindset. 

So how do you do this? 

Start with a tiny action, meditating for 10 minutes or a daily walk around your neighborhood, and see how you feel. Do it again the next day.  As your energy rises, so will your vibration, and your mindset will also shift. From here, the possibilities are endless.
