Two focused days to turn your nonprofit vision into an actionable roadmap

You're craving clear direction, focused strategy, and the kind of support that turns brilliant ideas into funding.

You've built a nonprofit at your kitchen table - between working a full-time job or running your business, or running the business of your entire family. But lately, you've felt it: you're ready for more than late-night planning sessions and quick-fix solutions.

You've already proven you can build a non profit that inspires and brings people together.

Now you're ready for:
  • Systems that run smoothly
  • Clear direction that helps you scale
  • Strategies that work with your schedule
  • Growth that doesn't sacrifice family time
  • Freedom to help more people without the overwhelm

You're craving clear direction, focused strategy, and the kind of support that turns brilliant ideas into actual funding

  • Systems that run smoothly while you're living life
  • Clear direction that helps you scale
  • Strategies that work with your schedule
  • Growth that doesn't sacrifice family time
  • The freedom to help more people without the overwhelm

Right now, you might be:

  • Making decisions in the margins of mom life, work life, life-life
  • Cramming in commitments to friends, family, and community between communicating with your team on Slack, scheduling tasks, answering emails, creating content…
  • Watching opportunities pass while juggling all the balls
  • Feeling pulled between scaling and being present
  • Craving a clear strategic roadmap that gets you out of the weeds

Let's be honest – trying to map out your next phase of growth between loads of laundry isn't working anymore.

Instead, achieve in two focused days what usually takes two months of stolen moments.

VIRTUAL MOMENTUM

Plan your next 6-12 months in 8 hours

Our goal for this Virtual retreat (2 - 1/2 days) is to develop a strategic plan ready to present to your board—with your travel schedule, family commitments, and energetic capacity in mind. This is ideal for planning your fiscal year, programming, fundraising, and organizing yourself and your team.

This is for you if:
  • Your board is asking for projections, programming, and KPIs.
  • You understand you’re the “face” of your nonprofit, you know it’s time to get out there to promote your work and fundraise, and you need a plan for where to start.
  • You have the heart and passion in spades, but your office is shedding sticky notes from every surface. Getting organized is one of your big personal (and professional) goals for the year.
  • It feels awkward to be making good money from your nonprofit. Can you give yourself a raise when you could put that money toward programs or your staff? Can you take your family on vacation to a resort with a bathtub big enough for two?

Pricing for the Virtual Momentum Retreat starts at $6,000.

MOMENTUM 1:1 RETREAT

Two immersive days to plan your next year

Step away from your operational demands so your brain has space to think beyond this quarter’s problems. I’ll come to you in person, which allows space for big ideas to emerge, for flow, creativity, brainstorming, and expansion, with no distractions.

Just a few big things clients have been able to do during a Momentum Retreat:
  • Prioritize your best ideas and plan how to execute them within the next year, including a project timeline (stop getting lost in your never-ending spreadsheet of ideas!).
  • Validate that your ideas serve your end-users in the ways they need most, using Human-Centered Design.
  • Decide what authentic visibility looks like to *you* as you promote your organization. Where do you want to show up? How? From there, we figure out your marketing action plan.
  • Harmonize your life, energy, self-care, and commitments, so you’re not putting everyone else before your needs. It’s amazing how much more doable everything feels when you resource yourself first.

You’ll leave our two-day retreat feeling refreshed, focused, and ready to take on your nonprofit’s next growth stage.

CLIENT'S CHOICE MOMENTUM

You dream it, we do it

This is perfect when you want to bring your team together in one place to recharge and inspire new, big ideas.

This is for you if:
  • You have a location in mind (you do the location planning for this one).
  • You've been thinking of having a team-building retreat and would love for me to be there to facilitate strategy and provide mentoring and coaching.
  • During our days together, you and your team will come away with a strategic plan for growth for the next year. This plan includes identifying each step needed to reach the new goals and delegating so everyone leaves feeling clear about their role.

The magic of this experience comes from the depth we find when innovation is sparked in a new environment, when we can bounce ideas around in the same space, and when the creative energy is amplified by everyone coming together.

A nonprofit strategy retreat is already unique, but…

What Makes This Different:
Nonprofits need to run like a business, have systems in place, improve organization, and have a team (you can’t do it all on your own), then there’s the board of directors who become a defacto boss, and funders!
You may need to diversify your income with grants and fundraising campaigns. With so many moving parts, so many people, so many egos involved,
it's even more important to step away to get clarity.

Why Me?

I’ve been there; balancing big visions, board expectations, fundraising, team building, and the demands of a growing organization, all while managing family and community commitments. As the "Head of Everything" in my own wine business—marketing, sales, HR, event planning, and strategy. I learned firsthand how to take an idea from the kitchen table to full-scale growth, while raising three kids.

I've also discovered that supporting your own energetic capacity is just as critical as the strategy itself, especially as a woman leading in spaces that constantly demand your attention. Prioritizing harmony, self-care, and sustainable growth isn't optional; it's essential for your organization’s long-term success, and for you to thrive personally and professionally.

I’ve been on both sides of the boardroom table—as a nonprofit board member and as a nonprofit staff member reporting to a Board, so I understand the delicate dance involved in accountability and fundraising dynamics. Together, we’ll create a strategic plan that not only scales your nonprofit’s impact but keeps you resourced and energized to lead the way forward.

Your Momentum Journey Delivers:

Immediate Results:
  • Clear action plan you can implement tomorrow
  • Systems that run while you recharge your batteries
  • Strategies that work with your busy schedule
  • Confidence that you're moving your highest-impact ideas forward
  • Relief from the constant overwhelm

This is not for you if:

  • You're looking for a strategic plan to appease your board
  • You just want to help people, and wish P&L’s and operations would disappear
  • You prefer staying in planning mode rather than action mode
  • You want to stay ‘behind the curtain’ of your nonprofit, rather than be the face of it

This is perfect for you if:

  • You’re ready to create a strategic plan for the next 6-12 months
  • You want systems that support your heart-centered work
  • You're ready to be more visible as the face of your nonprofit
  • You're tired of being the one who takes care of everyone else

I was overwhelmed by the areas of need and slightly paralyzed about where to go first. Lisa helped pull out everything that rattles around in my brain constantly, put it on paper, and helped prioritize based on importance and impact. She really helps you create paths forward with tangible bite-sized pieces that don't leave you in a state of overwhelm. She's very encouraging and always brings me back to the 'why' which is exactly what's needed!

I was feeling a bit overwhelmed but now after our retreat, I'm more intentional with Board interactions and better at delegating. The highlight was getting a clear path forward for the next several months.

Kelly
Executive Director

This was my first time being part of strategic planning and I was genuinely curious and excited! I love how you helped break down our big ideas - that's something I struggled with before. Watching and listening to you provided me a new skill that will carry over into what I do going forward. I loved how passionate you were about what we were doing. You weren't just another consultant; you were a true partner. Even virtually, your energy came through and transformed how I'll approach turning ideas into action.

Lisa kept the conversations moving so I could fully participate instead of facilitating. The visuals made everything click (especially for women who think best in pictures). Being in person during the Strategy Retreat was huge for the team’s dynamic, and I left with clarity on our marketing gaps, workflow improvements, and the holes in our systems I couldn’t see before.
